Gentry Hill serves as the chief of Resource Management for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Caribbean District, headquartered in Puerto Rico. In this key leadership role, Mr. Hill is the principal financial advisor to the District Commander, entrusted with guiding all fiscal operations in support of a multi-billion-dollar civil works and military construction portfolio across the Caribbean region. His responsibilities span oversight of budget, manpower, management analysis, finance, and accounting.

Mr. Hill began his distinguished federal career in the U.S. Navy, where he specialized in electronic warfare and cryptology aboard two warships and at a joint military intelligence installation. After completing his military service, Mr. Hill transitioned to public accounting with a national firm, later assuming financial leadership roles at major corporations including Walt Disney, Verizon, and Hilton.

In 2018, Mr. Hill rejoined federal service as a Cost Share Accountant with the Jacksonville District. He subsequently advanced to Finance and Accounting Officer, then Deputy Chief of Resource Management—building deep expertise in Corps financial operations and strategic resource management.

Mr. Hill holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Post University, a Master of Accountancy from Stetson University, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Florida, a Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), and a graduate of the Defense Comptrollership Program.
