SAD’s future leaders gather in Puerto Rico

South Atlantic Division Regional Leadership Development Program participants learn about an ongoing Caribbean District construction project as part of the SAD RLDP visit to Puerto Rico in late February 2026. RLDP participants gained firsthand exposure to USACE projects and the unique challenges of operating in an island environment. The group examined construction activities, modernization efforts, and the teamwork required to deliver complex projects. Their in-class learning was accompanied by field tours as part of their hands on engagements during the RLDP’s weeklong immersion in the Caribbean District’s mission, projects, and regional impact.
