USACE connects with industry to prepare for major Guajataca Dam repairs

Contractors and USACE employees walk the Guajataca Dam during an on site review of upcoming repair work. The site visit allowed participants to examine existing conditions and understand the scale of the permanent repair project. The walk through was part of the second day of the outreach event, which took place July 28-29, 2026, to give contractors a firsthand look at project challenges.
