Civil Works
The Civil Works mission of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is dedicated to enhancing the nation’s water resources infrastructure and environmental stewardship. This includes flood risk management, navigation improvements, aquatic ecosystem restoration, and recreational opportunities. USACE partners with non-federal sponsors to study, design, and construct projects that protect lives and property, improve navigable waterways, and restore natural habitats.
