The Interagency and International Support (ISS) mission enables USACE to deliver engineering and technical services to a wide array of domestic and international partners. These include federal agencies, state and local governments, tribal nations, private U.S. firms, and foreign governments.
Most IIS work is reimbursable and spans environmental restoration, infrastructure development, water resource management, and disaster recovery. Authorized under multiple federal statutes, USACE leverages its global expertise to address challenges of national and international significance, including support to friendly nations and humanitarian efforts across the Caribbean Basin and beyond.
