Groundbreaking ceremony launches next phase of Caño Martín Peña Ecosystem Restoration

Members of the Army Corps of Engineers Caribbean District Team who have worked on the Caño Martín Peña Ecosystem Restoration Project in San Juan, participate in the ceremonial groundbreaking for Contract 3 Phase 1 of the project. The milestone event marked the beginning of full dredging operations and continued progress toward restoring the 2.2 mile channel and surrounding ecosystems.
