The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Latin America and Caribbean District Office of Corporate Communications (CCO) serves as the primary point of contact for media, stakeholders, partner nations, and the public seeking information about the district’s programs, projects, policies, and operations across 33 countries in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean Basin.
CCO leads all public information, employee information, and community relations efforts for a rapidly expanding, multinational district. The team supports every mission area by developing strategic messaging, producing press releases and feature stories, coordinating high‑visibility engagements, capturing photos and video across diverse project sites, preparing executive speeches and presentations, and strengthening relationships with U.S. and partner‑nation audiences throughout the region.
CCO also manages the district’s public web page, ensuring timely updates, accessible content, and clear information for U.S. and international audiences. The office develops and maintains official publications, including project summaries, regional updates, and command messaging products tailored for diverse stakeholders. In addition, CCO oversees the district’s digital presence, producing fact sheets, visual explainers, and multimedia content that highlight engineering missions, partnerships, and regional impact.
