The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Latin America & Caribbean District has issued a Sources Sought Notice to identify qualified firms capable of providing Architect‑Engineer (A‑E) topographic and hydrographic surveying and mapping services across Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. Purpose of the Sources Sought
The Latin America & Caribbean District is conducting market research to determine industry capability and interest in supporting a planned Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for surveying and mapping services. The Government seeks information from qualified firms, including Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a), Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned Small Business, and Economically Disadvantaged Women‑Owned Small Business concerns.
This information will help determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for the forthcoming contract.
Anticipated Contract Overview
- Contract Type: Indefinite‑Delivery, Indefinite‑Quantity (IDIQ) MATOC
- Base Period: 1 year
- Option Periods: Four additional one‑year options
- Total Duration: Up to 5 years
- Estimated Contract Ceiling: $30,000,000
- Maximum Task Order Value: $5,000,000
- Place of Performance: Central America, South America, Caribbean, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands
Scope of Work
The planned MATOC will support CESAA’s civil works and military construction missions. Services may include:
- Topographic surveying
- Property and boundary surveys
- Construction surveying
- Photogrammetric and LiDAR mapping
- Inland hydrographic surveying
Firms should demonstrate capability to perform these services within the region, including experience obtaining host‑nation professional licenses and permits.
